Winning with wordless books

Children at SOS Port Elizabeth Village (and at five of our other Villages) are engrossed in a fantastic new assortment of toys, games and wordless picture books, thanks to a wonderful donation from Cadbury Dairy Milk’s ‘Glass and a Half ’ project.

Wordless picture books are an incredible tool for SOS mothers. Many vulnerable children coming into SOS can’t read at the required level and have never been exposed to books before. Wordless books allow them to tell their own story, in their own language, using the characters on the page.

It’s greatly beneficial for their emotional and social development. Thank you Cadbury, for helping children start new chapters in their lives.
