Regional Communication Specialist, Heather Victor, said they had recognised the need to become involved in the community and encouraged others to develop a social conscience towards the plight of the underprivileged.
“We are very honoured and privileged, once again, to assist in the need to sponsor one of the many houses”, Heather Victor.
Victor said the company saw the SOS Childrens Village initiative as a worthy cause that was making a difference in the lives of South Africa’s most marginalised children and young people.
Adient has over a signed Memorandum of Understanding, committed to a considerable annual contribution towards the love, care, protection and education of the children that reside in the Adient House at SOS Children’s Village Port Elizabeth.
“Not only had Adient committed to sponsoring the house, but they have also committed to taking a personal interest in the well-being of the children, and the upkeep and maintenance of the house and equipment”, SOS Corporate fundraiser Mandy Spies.
